We met on a whim that June afternoon beginning our stair step journey in our fate. You followed me trustingly as I haphazardly maneuvered the exhibits.
You sparked my attention after a kiss. A speeding race and my heart watching you as you interacted with your peers that warm July night.
I knew then I would have trouble ever letting you leave my side. We have yet to spend many nights apart since then and I regret none of them. My only regret today is the same as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow, I wish I had more time with you.
I wish I had met you sooner.
I wish it had not taken me so long to see me errors and realize my future to direct me to your path. I wish you had always been there.
I can’t change all of that and this I know so instead I plan on loving you each and every day that I am given. I plan to cherish you each day I am given. I plan to give you my all because, well I’m going on ’a whim’ here, but I think its pretty obvious….I love you!!
