The more I think you’re pulling away, the more you come back at me with sincerity and kindness. I really think you should consider whether you really want this or you just “want to want” this. There are so many rules, regulations and boundaries – we can’t ever really be kids and adolescents in our love for each other, because responsibility is always the name of the game.
That was my fault.
And I’m starting to really see how it weighs us down – and I don’t think that I get enough positive feedback from you – probably because you’re still trying to figure out how you feel about it – so, why don’t you go ahead and go? It breaks my heart to say it, but I think that what’s best at the moment is if I give you your freedom.
I love you; and I set you free.

Although I know we all have been and lived though such situatuations, my heart still aches for both involved in this love.
